Hello tea friend,

   I’m Bonnie, your "chef de tea”, a title that perfectly captures my twin passions: culinary arts and tea (especially cooking with tea!). 

   I wish to become your sincere guide into the enticing world of tea and food pairings, where history, tradition, and craftsmanship meet modern creativity.  Tea is not just a drink—it’s a story in every cup, and I’m here to help you weave it into your daily life.  Great tea should appreciated, some even obsessed with, but should also be approachable. 

  My journey here has been as winding as the paths of high-mountain tea gardens. I’ve crawled through the ducts of F-18 fighter jets, helped launch the Xbox, trained at Le Cordon Bleu, apprenticed under master chefs, and managed award-winning kitchens.

  Then fate introduced to the world of hand-picked, small batch crafted teas – and I was utterly captivated.  Seduced by their complex flavors, breathtaking tea mountains, and dedicated growers, pickers, and masters behind every leaf. 

  Along the way, I also fell in love with cooking with tea and crafting playful, delicious pairings.  Now, I’d love for you to join me as I dive deeper into this enchanted realm.
